BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Morgan Boaman (Treasurer to the Board) is a Colorado native who grew up in Longmont, attended high school in Boulder, and earned her undergraduate degree from Fort Lewis College. After graduation, she spent a year working in environmental education across the country, including positions in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Colorado. She later earned a Master of Science in Conservation Leadership through Learning from Colorado State University, a program that included four months in Kenya working with the Grevy’s Zebra Trust to support conservation education initiatives for local students.
Following graduate school, Morgan moved to California and spent six and a half years with the YMCA of Silicon Valley’s Outdoor Science School program. During that time, she met her husband, Trevor, and adopted two dogs, Cinder and Blue, before returning to Colorado.
Today, Morgan serves as Director of Outdoor Education at St. Anne’s Episcopal School in Denver and is the caretaker of the school’s auxiliary campus in Indian Hills. Outside of work, she is an avid photographer, snowboarder, hiker, birder, and lifelong nature enthusiast. Morgan and Trevor welcomed their daughter, Sutton, in November 2025, and she looks forward to sharing with her a love of the outdoors, a spirit of adventure, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
Nicole Cappelletty (President of the Board): After experiencing Mountainfilm last year, I am eager to deepen my involvement by serving on the Board. As an arts enthusiast, world traveler, and Montessori educator, I resonate deeply with Mountainfilm’s ability to showcase the diverse layers of humanity. Fostering connection through our shared experiences is crucial today, and I view Mountainfilm as a vital mechanism for grounding us all in our humanity.
Diane Gansauer (Secretary to the Board) is an author, celebrant, and lifelong adventurer whose work centers on honoring life’s transitions and helping others find meaning through both joy and loss. At age sixty-one, she embarked on a remarkable seven-year journey to hike the entire 3,100-mile Continental Divide Trail from Mexico to Canada. Along the way, she continued her work guiding memorial services and celebrations of life, accompanying hundreds of individuals and families through moments of reflection, remembrance, and healing.
Drawing on insights gained from both the trail and her work with others, Diane explores themes of resilience, purpose, grief, and personal growth. Her book, The Waypoints, weaves together stories from her wilderness journey and the wisdom she gathered from the many lives she has been privileged to honor. Through her writing and speaking, Diane inspires others to embrace life's challenges as opportunities for discovery, connection, and transformation.

As Executive Director and Producer of Mountainfilm Evergreen, Shane Matthews is passionate about storytelling, community engagement, and creating meaningful connections through film. He is dedicated to inspiring conversation, fostering community, and celebrating stories that encourage positive change.
Ella, the Director of Ella-vation, is a creative professional supporting Mountainfilm Evergreen through marketing, graphic design, storytelling, and community engagement. Ella’s career has spanned many different non-profits, and she values her work in being able to further their cause and broaden their reach. Mountainfilm Evergreen is no exception.
